1. The short answer
This website does not set cookies. Not analytics cookies, not advertising cookies, not preference cookies, and not the “strictly necessary” ones a static site has no need for.
That is also why you were not shown a consent banner when you arrived. Consent banners exist because sites set things they need permission for. There is nothing here to permit.
You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, go to the storage or application panel, and look at cookies and local storage for this domain. Both are empty.
2. What a cookie actually is
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits. Cookies are how a site remembers you are logged in, what is in your basket, or — in the case of advertising cookies — which other sites you have visited.

3. Other browser storage
Cookies are not the only way a site can store data on your device. For completeness, this site also does not use:

- Tracking pixels or web beacons
- Embedded video, map or chat widgets, all of which typically set their own storage
Your browser will cache the site's images, fonts and stylesheets, as it does for every website — that is ordinary HTTP caching so pages load faster, it stores no information about you, and clearing your browser cache removes it.
4. What the previous version of this site used
Transparency about what changed: the earlier version of this website loaded Google Analytics, the Google Translate widget, Google Fonts and images from several content delivery networks. Each of those set cookies or made requests that identified visitors to a third party.
All of it has been removed. Fonts, icons, scripts and images are now served from this domain, which is why nothing third-party can observe your visit.
5. Third-party links
The site links out to Instagram, Yelp and Google Maps. Those are ordinary links: nothing is loaded from them while you are on this site, and no request reaches them unless you click.
Once you follow such a link you are on their platform, and they will set their own cookies under their own policies. That is outside this site's control, and this policy stops at the point you leave.
6. What the forms do
The contact and booking forms are validated in your browser and store nothing. If you fill in half a form and leave, nothing is saved, nothing is transmitted and nothing is recoverable — not by us and not by anyone else.
Information reaches the studio only when you press submit. What happens to it then is described in the privacy policy.
7. Server logs
Requesting any page from any web server creates a log entry on that server. Your web host records the IP address, the time, the file requested, the response code and the browser's user-agent string. This is not a cookie — it happens at the network level and no site can switch it off — and it is used for security and troubleshooting, not analytics.
8. If this ever changes
If the studio later adds something that needs cookies — an online booking system with a live diary, a payment flow, or privacy-respecting analytics — then before anything is set:
- This page will be updated first, naming exactly what is set, by whom, for what and for how long
- A consent mechanism will appear for anything that is not strictly necessary
- “Reject” will be as easy to click as “accept”, and rejecting will not degrade the site
- Nothing non-essential will be set before you have chosen
Any analytics added would be a privacy-respecting, cookieless, aggregate-only option rather than an advertising platform.
9. Controlling cookies generally
Nothing here needs blocking, but for the rest of the web it is worth knowing where the controls are:
- Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Enhanced Tracking Protection
- Safari — Settings → Privacy → Prevent cross-site tracking
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions
- iOS and Android — browser settings, plus the system-level advertising identifier controls
Blocking all cookies everywhere will break sites that genuinely need them, such as anything you log into. Blocking third-party cookies is the usual sensible middle ground. This site works fully either way.
10. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” header or a Global Privacy Control signal expressing a preference not to be tracked or to have personal information sold or shared.
This site honours both, in the strongest possible sense: it does not track anyone, and it has nothing to sell or share. If tracking were ever introduced, those signals would be treated as a valid opt-out without any further action from you.
